Data

Our citizen science research provides valuable data on the health of Australian reefs. Our globally standardised protocols mean data is relevant on local, national and global scales.

We work closely with government and non-government groups to target priority monitoring sites and fill gaps in reef health knowledge. This unique, unbiased data set is available for education and research applications via our Reef Health Database.

Want data?

We make the data collected by trained volunteers available for research and education purposes in .csv or .png formats. Due to the large volumes of data requests we receive, it has become necessary to charge an administration fee of $100.00 (AUD) + gst for processing of the data Licence Deed and setting up login credentials. Once you have paid the fee and received your login, you are able to access as much of our data that is available online, within the dates listed in your signed licence deed. Please note that this fee does not include our manipulation of data to suit your requirements. This service can be provided at an hourly rate if required. Please email us for all data requests.
